TriQuint supplies a majority of the world’s GPS / PND SAW filters. Our newest product is the TQM640002 – the world’s smallest, most fully-integrated GPS front-end receive module. The TQM640002 requires no external matching and is ideal for multiple markets: cellular handsets, PND, automotive and other location-based applications.

TriQuint designed its newest module to simplify the design and manufacture of GPS RF receive chains. No other module offers this level of front-end integration for its size: 3.0x3.0mm. TriQuint’s design leverages its extensive, cost-conscious SAW product development history as well as its pioneering E/D pHEMT flip-chip and handset FEM integration expertise. Other GPS FEMs on the market rely on more expensive BAW filtering and require multiple external matching components, increasing the BOM by as many as five components while substantially increasing the PCB area dedicated to RF.
