TriQuint 2010 Revenue up 34%Overall, 2010 was a record year for TriQuint revenue and earnings. We achieved $878.7 million in revenue; solid performance nearly tripled non-GAAP earnings. TriQuint closed the year with no debt and $224 million in cash and investments. In 2010 we invested in capacity and positioned ourselves to maintain an aggressive growth rate for 2011 and beyond. TriQuint believes it can grow revenue by about 20% in 2011, and anticipates the RF market will be strong for years to come. |
TriQuint Wins 3rd Consecutive Raytheon Excellence Award
Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) honored TriQuint with a Supplier Excellence Award. The award is presented to less than 1% of the SAS supply base; only 34 companies received awards in 2010. Winners were chosen by Raytheon for meeting demanding quality, delivery and customer satisfaction standards. |

TriQuint Wins $17.5M GaN Title III Contract
TriQuint received a $17.5M Defense Production Act Title III gallium nitride (GaN) manufacturing development contract from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The overall goal of the program is to increase yields, lower costs and improve time-to-market cycles for defense and commercial GaN integrated circuits. TriQuint received the award based in part on its success and experience developing new gallium nitride technologies and products including multiple DARPA contracts. | New GaN PA for Counter-IED Applications
TriQuint's new 30W GaN power amplifier, TGA2576, supports C-IED (counter-IED) and general EW (electronic weapons) applications across a 2.5 to 6 GHz frequency range. Fabricated using TriQuint's production-released 0.25µm GaN on SiC process, it typically offers 30W of saturated output power with 30% PAE and 25dBm of small signal gain. U.S. Navy Awards TriQuint $2M Amplifier Contract TriQuint has been awarded a $2 million, 2-year contract by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory to develop a suite of new S-band MMIC amplifiers including LNAs with improved linearity and noise figures as well as HPAs with increased efficiency (PAE). TriQuint's expertise developing new semiconductor processes and products with GaAs and other technologies was a key factor in winning the contract.
