TriQuint to Announce New CATV Innovations at ANGA
June 8, 2012

TriQuint CATV / FTTH experts will announce two new TriAccess™ amplifiers at ANGA, Europe’s largest cable TV and broadband trade fair. TriQuint CATV / FTTH solutions are built with cost-effective gallium arsenide (GaAs) technology and are designed to replace multiple products in CATV systems, thereby reducing BOM costs and improving performance. TriQuint’s new TAT2814A is ideal for DOCSIS® 3.0 output stage amplifier designs including Edge QAM and CMTS. TAT2814A meets DOCSIS 3.0 specifications with ample margin; it can reduce PCB area by up to five times compared to current designs. The TAT6281 variable gain RF amplifier delivers reliable, low-noise performance while simplifying FTTH designs and reducing bills of materials.
