PowerBand™ Technology Selected as Awards Finalist

TriQuint’s PowerBand high-efficiency, wideband technology was selected as a Defense & Aerospace finalist in TechAmerica’s 2010 ‘Terman’ awards. PowerBand enables PAE of 50% or more across a bandwidth as great as 20 MHz to 6 GHz. The ‘Termans’ are named after Frederick Terman, who along with William Shockley is credited with establishing Silicon Valley as a high-tech center. The awards are presented annually by TechAmerica, a Washington DC-based association promoting the recognition of organizations and products that embody the spirit of innovation.
