Community Giving
At TriQuint, we make communications products that help the world connect. But our passion extends beyond technical connections — we connect life, by supporting our communities, inspiring youth, and nurturing the environment. Through financial support, volunteer service and educational contributions, TriQuint strives to be an asset to communities worldwide.
TriQuint's 'Life is About Connections' mantra acknowledges the connections
TriQuint's RF products and services make in the world's wireless communications
devices and equipment, but it also extends to connections in communities.
Besides TriQuint's financial and volunteer contributions, employees extend care
to local communities through a yearly commuter challenge to collect money and
help reduce carbon emissions. Winter coat drives and holiday giving trees are
also regular activities at many TriQuint campuses. Employees even raise funds
through good old-fashioned bake sales, and many stay active participating in
cycling & walking events. TriQuint matches employee gifts with contributions to
the Red Cross and United Way. Other donations benefit various Food Banks, the
Salvation Army, Special Olympics, American Cancer Society and the National
Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Focused on education, TriQuint supports engineering activities at many universities, and most notably donated to Portland State University's Dryden Drop Tower to conduct research for NASA. TriQuint also sponsors an RF Design course at the university. Besides interactions at the college level, TriQuint employees inspire youth to follow engineering careers annually during February's National Engineering month.
"TriQuint's commitment to various charitable organizations will provide education and services to thousands of more people around the world," said Ralph Quinsey, CEO for TriQuint. "I am inspired by the grass roots efforts employees initiate in critical times of need, and pleased the company can match a significant portion of these funds."
